Welcome to Turkish Food sub-forum!

Here I supposed we're to make each other hungry by talking about food. *gulps* Delicious food... kebabs, desserts, hot and cold dishes, drinks and everything.

Well don't let the forum name decieve you. You can of course share your own dishes from your own culture. All is welcome as long as they are tasty and they are food.

So since Erkan notes about Turkish food, I have been craving to eat at a Turkish restaurant and finally today i had the chance to go with my sister,  and boy am i glad! It was fantastic, just to give you an idea (and maybe make you a little hungry for some desserts ) here is what we had, sekerpare (A baked mixture of enriched Turkish delights), and Fιrιn Sütlac (baked rice pudding)

I loved the sekerpare so much, i originally ordered the rice pudding (which i also loved) but after i had a bite from my sis's sekerpare order;  i couldn't resist ordering one for myself.

fast food is taking over everywhere i guess, i hope that's not the case in turkey, i want to visit and see the beauty of their traditional food while living there.
